BALTIC
Baltic is a French watch brand founded in 2017 by Etienne Malec. Inspired by his late father’s collection of vintage timepieces and a passion for classic watch design, Malec sought to create high-quality, timeless watches that reflect the aesthetics of the mid-20th century.
Baltic watches are known for their elegant, vintage-inspired designs, focusing on mechanical movements and clean, classic dials. The brand launched its first models through a successful Kickstarter campaign, which helped establish a strong community of enthusiasts. Baltic's collections, like the Bicompax 001 chronograph and the Aquascaphe dive watch, blend traditional design with modern reliability.
All Baltic watches are assembled in France, using carefully selected components, including reliable movements from Swiss and Japanese manufacturers.

"A truly unique watch"
Today, we present this timepiece: a pre-owned Aquascaphe Bronze Diver's wristwatch. It is a self-winding watch powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels, a 42-hour power reserve, and a smooth sweep second hand. Assembled in France.
Housed in a 39mm round case with a classic lug design, it is crafted from CuAL aluminum bronze alloy. The watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel and is water-resistant up to 200 meters (20 ATM / 656 feet). It features a double domed sapphire crystal and an original screw-down crown for added durability.
The gradient brown dial is accented with luminous Arabic numerals, round hour markers, a minute track, and matching luminous gold hands. The dial is signed with the Baltic name/logo at the top and "Aquascaphe 200M" at the bottom.
This watch comes fitted with the original black textured rubber strap, complete with the original signed buckle. It is also coming with nylon one-piece strap.
Overall, it is a handsome and reliable wristwatch that keeps good time and runs very well.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have pertaining to size.
We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
It will be carefully packed.
