“Forbidden Island” was inspired by 2 black and white vintage photos and a shot I took at the Place Of Refuge on the Big Island of Hawaii. A beautiful wahine watches a wooden schooner drop anchor in an idyllic tropical lagoon with a majestic volcanic mountains in the distance. The 2 menacing tikis watch over her and could portent troubled waters ahead for the visiting sailors. This is an archival quality, hand-signed fine art print from my original acrylic paintings. The Large and XL sizes are signed and numbered, limited editions.
